Frequently Asked Questions about The Horrorland

When is The Horrorland  open?

We are open from September 23 to October 31. Visit our park hours page for exact dates and hours.

 

What times are the Vampire circus show?

Thursday - Sunday 7:30 PM Friday Saturday 7:30 - 9:30  per day, please check the time board when you arrive. 

Is there a parking charge?

Yes, there is a $15 fee (including sales tax) per vehicle for parking. And $22 for valet Parking

 

Is your facility wheelchair accessible?

Our facility is outdoors with unpaved terrain, including grassy and rocky areas.

Both indoor haunted attractions are wheelchair accessible, and the guest-accessible areas of the Macabre food Village, and creepy bar garden are wheelchair accessible.

Please note that all of the outdoor attractions.

The vampire circus show have wheelchair-accessible locations to see show. 

 

Are there any age restrictions?

The Horrorland is recommended for 10 and over, but younger children may attend if parents choose to bring them.

Carrying infants or children through our haunted house attractions is NOT recommended. There are no special prices for infants or children and no refunds if anyone decides not to finish.

Please note there are several emergency exits throughout each attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue.

Do all members of my group need to complete a waiver before entering the park?

Our insurance company requires all guests to complete a waiver before entering our park. Guests under 18 years old must have their parent’s or guardian’s signature on their waiver. Entry into the park without correctly completing a waiver will be considered trespassing.

We recommend you complete your waiver ahead of time at Waiver.thehorrorland.com – Do NOT email or mail your waiver to us. Your completed hard copy waiver must be presented in person at the main entrance of the park.

Hard copy waivers will also be available on-site, but please be aware that completing your waiver on-site may delay your entrance into the park.

Regardless, we recommend you arrive 30 minutes before the park opens to allow enough time for parking & waiver check in, and to maximize your time at the park.

What is the difference between the General Admission, Fast Pass?

The General Admission ticket includes unlimited access to all haunted attractions.

The Fast Pass allows you to skip the General Admission line and use the Fast Pass lane.

NOTE: Fast Pass customers must bring their credit card and ID to the box office on the night of the event to pick up their tickets.

 

Does the  Fast Pass include General Admission?

When purchasing your admission ticket, you may select either the:

– General Admission ticket

– General Admission ticket + VIP Fast Pass ticket

All of the above ticket options include General Admission to the park.

 

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept credit cards for both online purchases and for purchases at the box office and Monster Midway.

Does The Horrorland offer group discount tickets?  Can I get group discount tickets at the box office?

Group discount tickets may be purchased online through the group sales page or The Horrorland House online ticket page.

Group discount tickets are only available online and are not available at the box office.

 

How do I get there?

When does Horrorland close? If I don't make it through all of the attractions before you close, can I come back another night and see the rest?

We close at a different time each night. Please visit the park hours page for a full list of our dates and times.

If you are in line for an attraction at closing time, you will still be able to go through that attraction before it closes.

We do not guarantee that all customers will make it through all attractions before we close. However, the following guidelines will nearly guarantee that you’ll be able to make it through all attractions before we close:

  • Give yourself plenty of time to go through the attractions by arriving earlier in the night.

  • Enjoy your time in the Macabre food Village , but don’t delay visiting the next attraction.

  • When possible, go through the attraction with the shortest waiting line.

  • Visit all of the attractions at least once before re-visiting an attraction a second time.

  • Be one time at the amphitheater for the show we do not reserve seats. 

Are there strobe lights?

Yes. All of our attractions have strobe lights.

I'm having trouble purchasing or accessing my tickets. Who do I contact?

There are two ways to purchase tickets:

  • Tickets may be purchased on the tickets page of our website. You may purchase tickets on site at the box office. Please note tickets purchased at the box office are $5 more than the online ticket price.

There are three ways to access your tickets after purchase:

  • Log in to the Tixr Account to access your tickets.

  • Bring your ID to the box office upon arrival so we can assist you to retrieve your tickets.

  • Contact customer support by submitting a contact form.

 

Do you charge customers if they just want to visit the Macabre Food Village and see

the Vampire circus Show?

Yes. Tickets are the same price whether you visit all of the attractions or not.

 

Can I attend if I’m pregnant, have heart conditions or am in poor health?

The Horroaland is not recommended for those who are pregnant, have heart conditions or are in general poor health. If you have any of these conditions, we highly recommend you refrain from visiting The Horroaland.

Please consult your physician before you enter ANY Haunted House Attraction. Folks with any serious medical conditions are advised not to enter. We are serious. Things lunge out at you, people might fall down, and even your friends might just completely run over you. WE DO USE FOG AND STROBE LIGHTS. People with asthma and epilepsy are urged not to enter. Purchasing tickets is also your, and your guests, acceptance of our Terms & Conditions pertaining to our attraction. You have been warned, and you will Enter at your own risk. 

 

Are your haunted house attractions open if it rains?

The Horrorland  is open rain or shine. We do not offer refunds or rain checks. Purchasing a ticket to The Horrorland is like purchasing a ticket to a concert event.

Our indoor attractions stay open at all times. The Vampire circus show is under a covered area 

The outdoor attractions remain open during light rain and light wind. However, during periods of heavy rain, lightning, or high winds the outdoor attractions may close temporarily until the weather conditions improve.

 

What should I wear?

Our facility has attractions located both indoors and outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather. We do not recommend wearing sandals, heels, flip flops or open-toed shoes.

 

Do you serve food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages?

Yes. We sell a full complement of food, beverages, beer, and wine.

State law does not allow customers to bring alcohol onto our property.

Additionally, we do not allow admission into our facility or attractions if you are intoxicated.

 

Can we take photos or video inside of your haunted house attractions?

No. You are not allowed to take photos or videos inside of our haunted house attractions.

However, you are allowed to take photos in the Macabre food village and in the areas outside of our haunted house attractions.

 

What items aren't allowed at your facility?

You are not allowed to bring pets, outside food, outside beverages, flashlights, laser pointers, firearms or other weapons into our facility.

Food and beverages purchased at our facility are only allowed in the Macabre food village and waiting lines, and are not allowed inside the attractions.

 

Can we wear costumes and face paint?

Unfortunately, for security reasons, only employees at The Horrorland may wear costumes and face paint.

How old do you have to be to work at The Horrorland?

You must be at least 16 years old to work at The Horrorland.

How do I contact your lost and found department? How do I contact the on-site box office?

Lost and found is handled by on-site box office staff.

On-site box office staff are not available outside of normal park operating hours. The box office can be reached directly by calling on the following form.

What happens is im to terrified to finish, or even enter?

You are buying a ticket for a haunted house meant to scare, startle, frighten, terrify… etc. If you’ve already entered the attraction, there are emergency exits throughout the attraction. If you’ve purchased a ticket, but just can’t summon the courage to go in, you may give your ticket to another person for that evening. There will be NO REFUNDS for any reason.

How do I get my ticket refunded when im to scare to finish?

NO REFUNDS. You wanted to get scared, and we happily obliged. There are no refunds for any reason.

Does the haunted factory have security?

WE’RE WATCHING. ALWAYS. The Horrorland employs private security, as well as local Law Enforcement Officers to ensure the safety and security of our guests and staff. Surveillance cameras are everywhere, and in every room of our attraction – even backstage. We also have behind-the-scenes security monitoring cameras and safety channels at all times.

We employ armed security staff throughout our facility.

We do not allow foul language, inappropriate touching, fighting, weapons of any kind, drugs or other unacceptable and illegal behavior.

Those who are ejected from the facility will not receive a refund and will not be allowed to return to the facility.

IS SMOKING PERMITTED? VAPING?

NO SMOKING. NO VAPING. 

For the safety and comfort of our guests and animals,Smoking/Vaping is NOT permitted anywhere in the park. Please be respectful of other Animals, guests and families.

 

CAN WE TAKE VIDEO OR PICTURES?

NO. VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY ARE NOT PERMITTED INSIDE THE ATTRACTION. 

Queue Line, and Roaming actors will gladly pose for pictures before you enter. We also have a photo booth staged at the exit. Our creatures inside the haunt hate bright lights, and we are tired of cleaning up the blood, so cellphones and flashlights are not permitted. If you are seen using a flashlight, camera, or cellphone inside the attraction, you will be escorted out and will not receive a refund.

Why are there two ticket prices?

We offer General Admission and Fast Pass Admission. Those who don’t mind waiting in the general admission line are able to purchase the lower-priced ticket. Visitors who prefer a shorter wait must purchase the Fast Pass.
